Thomas Hilliard

WELS pastor from 1974-2008 in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Florida. Worked in social services at nursing home/rehab center from 2008-2011. Although supposedly retired, from 11/11 I have served pretty much full-time as vacancy pastor (10 places in New York, Massachusetts, North Carolina, Virginia, Nebraska and Florida). I will be serving in Gaylord/Indian Creek, Michigan at time of reunion.

Thankful to still be able to serve the Lord filling in at churches during vacancies. This does mean that I am away from home (Gainesville, FL) alot and don't get to see my grandchildren as much as I would like.

After visiting Alaska in summer of 2015, Cathy and I have now visited all 50 states.

I remember riding in Alan Eckert's car with probably 4 other guys when we drove into a McDonald's parking lot. We weren't suppose to be riding in town student cars, so when we saw Tutor Schroeder in the parking lot all of us ducked down. This made it look like Al was cruising the parking lot by himself. It worked. We got away with the crime.
