V.V. is retired after working many years as Director of the local Foster Grandparents program.

Joel just moved back to Memphis to begin a new job at St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Kristin is presently teaching high school English in Irving, TX. She is married to Aaron Glaeske, a WELS pastor serving in Duncanville, TX. Aaron just accepted a call to a new mission in Victoria, TX, so they will be moving this summer. They have a 9 year old son, Lucas.

I retired April 1, 2014 after 28 years with FedEx. Previous "careers" included teaching chemistry at Fox Valley Lutheran High School in Appleton, WI and working as an air traffic controller in Green Bay, St. Louis, and New Orleans.

I am busy being retired. Don't ask me what I do all day, I just know I'm busy.

V.V. and I have been considering a move/new house. We are active members at Gloria Dei Lutheran Church in Memphis, TN.

We also enjoy visiting the kids and our grandson Lucas.

FedEx provided opportunity to see the world. Some of the more memorable destinations: Arkhangelsk, Russia; Chengdu, China; Almaty, Kazakhstan; and Bagram AFB, Afghanistan. It was also my privilege to serve on the WELS Africa Administrative Committee for almost 6 years. V.V. and I will celebrate our 46th wedding anniversary in June and really enjoy our time together. We're headed to Mackinac Island for a few days in October. Also thinking about a possible return to Mardi Gras in New Orleans next year.

Clarence Jenkins and I lived with Professor Birkholz and his family for our junior year. Fun times to say the least. Bob Koester and I also stayed with the Birkholz's while working for MLS during The Summer of Love. I still enjoy hearing from Mrs B. at Christmas.

Planned to enter the ministry. I graduated from Northwestern College but did not go on to Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary.

Parents, aunts, uncles, and lots of cousins. Maybe our grandson Lucas will find his way to Saginaw.
