Duane Brown is an incredible husband and the man of my dreams! He also graduated from Brighton (1970). We've known each other 3 different times in our lives, but the 3rd time (after going through a divorce) was the charm and we married in 2009. Since then we have been almost inseparable! We love traveling and have been to many countries all over the world, including every State in the U.S., with Maui and Mesa being our homes away from home. We have enjoyed family history and Temple work and are so excited to be living in this time in the history of the world! It's the greatest time to be alive!
Life has been good to us, but just like everyone, it hasn't been without it's challenges! We love life and are grateful for the experiences we've had! I was able to teach school for32 years and loved every bit of it! If I had to do it all over again, I would still choose to be a teacher. Becoming a life-long learner has always been a passion of mine, but teaching children to love learning was a bonus!
There have been other accomplishments as well, but the greatest lesson I guess I've learned is that "a life worth living is a life lived in serving others!"
