Our beloved mother, grandmother, wife, sister and friend, Marsha Hoffman Conaway, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2016, after battling cancer. She was born April 29, 1952 in Salt Lake City, UT., to Richard Hoffman and Margaret Kmetzsch Hoffman. She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was loved as a wonderful teacher.
Marsha's infectious sense of humor and happy disposition made everyone smile. She was a fabulous chef and a charitable care-giver to her husband, parents and partner Andre.
She married Vernon Conaway in the Salt Lake Temple on May 10, 1974. She is survived by her daughter Claire Conaway Berg (John), grandson Christian Tyler Berg, granddaughters Kathryn Lorelei Berg and Gabrielle Holland Berg, brother Butch Hoffman (Linda) and sister Diane Hoffman Steed (Roger). She is preceded in death by her husband Vernon Conaway, brother Donny Hoffman and parents Richard R. and Margaret K. Hoffman.
Funeral services will be held at the Foxboro 1st Ward, 875 Foxboro Drive, North Salt Lake, on Friday, April 29 at 11:00 A.M. where friends may call prior from 9:30 - 10:30 A.M. Interment immediately following services at the Salt Lake City Cemetery. broomheadfuneralhome.com
