Leslie K. Kirkham

1952 ~ 2022

St. George, UT—Leslie K. Kirkham, 69 passed away on January 5, 2022, in St. George, UT. Leslie was from Holladay, UT and was born on August 30, 1952 in Salt Lake City, UT to Revis R. Kirkham and Mareta W. Kirkham. She has spent the past thirty years with her partner and care-giver James M. Hall.

Leslie had a zest for life, and will be truly missed. She had a laugh that was not only contagious, she could fill a room. She had an unforgettable sense of humor, and could tell jokes for days like her dad. She also had a very creative side that included a knack for interior design, amazing calligraphy skills, and of course theatre. She really loved to go shopping and to travel to sunny places to enjoy her love for the sun. One of her favorite places to travel was to The Big Apple to sightsee and see many Broadway shows. You could catch her singing along with the best of them. Her free-spirit attitude always left an impression on everyone she met. She was known to randomly dance, and her family will greatly miss all of Ms. Leslie K's candid moments.

Although you are gone, we will forever be thinkin' of you.You are free at last, go with the wind and fly.

She is survived by: James (Jim) M. Hall, her only child Alexis Amity Owens and Shawn Steven Owens Reno, NV.

She was preceded in death by her sister Karen Marinos, brother William (Kirk) Kirkham, and her parents Revis R. Kirkham and Mareta W. Kirkham.

The family would like to thank all of Leslies Care-givers and Doctors over the past decade for your assistance.

Leslies Celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, January 11 at 1pm at 1316 S. 400 E. #A3 &A5, St George, UT. Interment will be held at Tonaquint Cemetery.

I'm so sorry to hear that Leslie is gone. I remember her vividly from high school days as someone who always had a laugh to share. It sounds from her obit that she never lost her sense of humor and great personality. Thanks for the memories, Leslie! Sue Simmons Saffle

This is very sad news! I haven't seen Leslie since HS graduation but I certainly enjoyed my association with her through those HS years. She was such a colorful character, full of life, humor and enthusiasm. I'm grateful to have known her and highly value our friendship.

I was very sad to hear of Leslie's passing. We were very close friends for many years. What fond and fun memories I have if her. I was able to attend her Internment in St. George and met her daughter and husband and we laughed about many of the antics both Leslie and I experienced. I will miss her.
