I found out today about the untimely passing of my dear and beloved friend James (Jim) Mabey. I am quite frankly devastated to hear this sad news. Jim was one of my best friends and I adored him. Jim was very, very special: he was open and tender-hearted and always made the people he loved feel like a million dollars - I was lucky enough to be in that club. Jim had a mischievous sparkle in his eye--he knew how to make every day seem like an adventure. He was brilliant, capable and astute. He was enthusiastic and optimistic-- a genuinely great guy and devoted friend. Integrity was his middle name: he was responsible, loyal and honored his word. I just cannot say enough good things about my dear Jim. Amigo: I will remember you--and miss you forever, until the day we meet again. RIP Jim. I love you so much!
