KIM PETTIT

March 20, 1952-June 10, 2015

Kim Leslie Pettit, of Henderson, passed away too soon and unexpectedly June 10, 2015. Our dad was a beloved son, father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. Kim was always on the go, had a love for jeeping and often cruised the trails of Moab with his sons, family and friends. Kim was an awesome grandpa and enjoyed his grandkids to the fullest. Kim had a huge heart, was a true friend and was generous and giving of his time. He will be missed more than words can say. Kim was preceded in death by his father, Curtis L. Pettit. He is survived by his mother, Doris Pettit; and siblings, Launie, Joan and Diane. Kim is also survived by his five children and their spouses, Kelley and Jon Huff, Lindsey and Jeff Turpin, Holly and Sheldon Nakamoto, Tyler and Danica Pettit, and Randall and Allie Pettit; as well as their mother, Lisa Josephson; and stepmother, Keri Pettit. Kim is also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Cassidy, Rylie, Morgan, Makenzie, Matt, Zack, Gabe, Sam, Erika, Travis, Lily, Angel, McCoy, Kenadie and Tayler. Viewing will begin at 10 a.m. Friday, June 19, with services following at 11 a.m., both at the LDS Anthem Stake Center, 2497 Cozy Hill Circle. Burial will be Saturday, June 20, in St. George, Utah.
