Kirk Jay Searle 71, brother, father, and grandfather passed away comfortably at his home November 21st, 2023. 

Born April 29th, 1952, to Jay Clayton Searle & Norma Jean Harvey in Salt Lake City, Utah. He is survived by his wife Terri Searle (although divorced, they remained friends) four children Kendale (Savanna) Brady (Courtney) Michael (Kimberly) and Shane. Three siblings Debbie, Dale (Debbie) and Lisa (Scott). 11 grandchildren, Hunter, Emery, Makayla, Dallan, Emma, Oaklie, Davey, Ali, Kali, Jace and Kamden. Numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. 

Kirk was a lifelong electrician, handyman, excellent teacher, and keeper of the counter. He retired from Wimmer Electric in 2022. He enjoyed camping, fishing, boating, Dallas Cowboys, Utah Utes, Cops, The First 48, NASCAR and Bud Light. Whenever any of the grandkids came over, they went straight to Grandpa. They knew who had the endless supply of sweets and chips. He was known to make them a chocolate donut breakfast from time to time. Dad, Grandpa we will miss you. Thank you for all the wonderful times we had. We love you.

A Celebration of Life will be held December 9th from 2-6:00 P.M. at the Woodbridge Condos Clubhouse; 4800 South 1980 East, Holladay, Utah.

Kirk and I grew up on the same street in Holladay, and we spent many long hours of every day doing what kids did in those days...bike riding, exploring, snowball fighting and building tree huts. Nothing but good memories, and the news of his passing brought them all back. Rest in peace, Kirk.
