David was born Sept. 9, 1955 to Walter LeRoy Scho-field and Violetta Richards Schofield in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dave grew up in the East Millcreek area, playing in the fields and orchards and fishing in the creek. He was an exceptional athlete, excelling in baseball, basketball and skiing. He attended Evergreen Jr. High and Olympus High Schools. Dave was well liked by those who knew him.He was preceded in death by his father, and brother, Tom.
Survivors include his mother; sisters, Anne (Jack) Hill, Linn Spencer, Sandy Drury; and brother, Walter Lee (Marle) Schofield; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Friends and relatives may contact family members for more information.
