I'm still a little unsure of this site and format?????  Not as tech savvy as the younger generation

I just wanted to encourage those of you that know of missing classmates location-ie Fred Kalt in AK-we need to connect with as many as we can.  As we know from talking to so many classmates last night that life is fragile and we never know how long we have living here.  I know of at least one so I'm going to contact her and encourage her to join the class page

Thanks again for a really lovely reunion and you all look awesome!!!!!  Jerilyn

I want to add my thanks to Brian Twede for the outstanding pictures!  A great way to remember a wonderful evening, and for those who weren't there to connect in some way.

Thank you from me as well.   I know I have changed since high school and from the pictues I only recognize Sue Whittaker and Cindy Vincent.  Everyone else looks very unfamilure.   Is there a way to reintroduce everyone ?   Thanks, LuKaye

Dave West (aka Budda) passed on 3/26.  Viewing is tonight, 4/1/15, from 6:00p - 7:30p, at Jenkinis-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State, in Murray, and the funeral is on Thursday, 4/2, at 1:00p at Murray Parkway Stake Center, 619 West 5750 South in Murray.  He was my point guard from 6th grade through high school, was an amazing competitor, was Mr. Assist on the court and great friend on and off the court.  We are going to miss ya budda!   Gliss

Sorry to hear about Dave West. Seems like just the other day that he came over to my house and I made a bunch of basketball pictures, of him playing basketball, in my darkroom.

Our spectacular center of the '73 and '74 basketball teams, Jeff Wilkinson, passed on April 20th.  I remember first meeting Jeff between 9th and 10th grades at a basketball camp.  He towered over me by at least three inches and was already a grown man - strong, tall, well coordinated and fast.  Jeff carried the load in the paint as he started and played nearly every minute of every game in our junior and senior years.   Our heartfelt condolences go out to Sue Ann and to their three boys and daugther-in-law.

Everybody, a classmate is having a bad time and needs some support. Terri Watson is quite distraught over the health of her mother who is in a care facility. Due to positive COVID tests in facility, she, somehow, is unable to contact her or find out about her. She could use an indicator of support from her classmates. In Facebook, I'll send her a beautiful pic of nature, and maybe a small expression of compassion and urge you to do something small like this yourselves. Small effort from us would be big to her right now.

Yesterday I put out an appeal for everyone to extend a touch of support to a classmate who is in distress. Not knowing the extent and nature of her issues, I may have inadvertently created more problems instead of solving them. In one instance she exhibited a negative response toward such attention. Under any circumstances, please keep her in your hearts.

Scott,

I do not remember you nor do I think I knew you in Jr. High or High School, but I get it when you say that a particular song or music will bring High School or Jr. High School back to you. Music can do that for me as well. I'm glad those are happy memories for you. For me though, most of my School memories are unhappy and filled with stress. I had friends, a scant few, and those friends made me happy but the majority of my memories are filled with sadness as I remember how the remainder of the students were unkind to the extreme, indeed I was bullied by almost all of the students that I had been in school with since kindergarten. Even some of the faculty singled me out for ridicule. I was a good student, got good grades, and for the most part, I followed the rules. I'm not black, I'm white, like the majority of the students. So why was I ridiculed?

I wasn't mormon.

I am alive and well. Do not worry about me. I will not be attending the reunion again because of the cost to travel.  I send my love to all. If anyone would like to help me in my situation, please go to my go fund me page. Thank you all very much. Fred Kalt https://gofund.me/cd8e0827
