There is a group of people working on a reunion this summer. Pretty sure it is the same team who successfully organized the previous events. This is only a heads up comment. Mike Coombs has been invited to help out and he talked to me a bit about the idea. They need more contacts. Check out missing contacts on Dales home page. - Steve Carhart

I am sorry I could not join you on this reunion event. This is the first time that I have been in the states when there has been an Oly event and I still can’t make it. My son is competing in a couple of HS swim meets this week. I missed many of these when working in Russia, so I don’t miss them now.

I truly love my life in Alaska. But then I loved Montana, Nevada, and overseas. There are wheels in motion that will get me back to either Utah or Montana more. These are happy times.

Social media allows me to keep somewhat in touch with many of my friends. And through these connections, I can see the expanding size of friends and families of my friends. I like that. I don’t like some of the other parts that comes with this medium.

My life has been a journey, one of which I love. However, I regret that I was not there for your happy events and sad events. I have heard about these sad and happy events sometime years after. I wanted to send some notes, but then should I bring up a buried memory. I am sorry for this.

My cabin is always open for those who visit Alaska in the summer. I’m always on the ski hill in Girdwood in the winter if someone wants to take a run. Say hi to everyone for me. Take some pictures.

I am damn proud where I came from and much of that pride is due to the people I grew up with. Friends of my youth, friends today.

Passing through SLC for my niece's wedding. Met up with Mike Coombs. Just had some surgery so a little slow, but gaining speed. Loved Alta
