Hmmm...well...I did my undergrad at UTSA, then moved to Dallas and went to grad school at UTD at night. I moved to Northern VA in '03, to Chicago in '05, and back to VA last year. I've raised 3 lovely dogs, all boys, but lost one to cancer in 2003. If I'd bothered to marry my long-term live-in's, I'd be in the waiting period on my 3rd divorce right now. Luckily, it's so much easier and faster without all of the paperwork, and all it cost me was a sofa. I've been with the same company for 17 years, which sounds a little crazy when I think about it, but they've kept me sufficiently challenged and entertained over the years, so I've enjoyed it. Right now I'm managing a team of operational risk auditors - trying to get everyone fully trained to run the onsite audits without me, so I can cut back on work related travel. When not working, I do a little bit of everything...attending concerts, plays, films, wine tastings, art exhibits; rehabbing my various houses over the years; traveling, hiking, diving, kayaking, snowboarding, hoping to add rock climbing this summer and thinking about taking up golf, but I bought into a summer beach rental, so I have a feeling I will end up spending most of my free time down there. I used to do a lot of charity work when I lived in Dallas, but had to cut back considerably when I started traveling for work. My favorite gig was teaching adult ESL and I hope to get back into it at some point, but for now I work sporadic events for JLW when my schedule allows. There you go...my life...work, play, work, play, give back when I can.
