You were one of my best friends in jr highschool and high school too.  We had some really crazy times and did some really crazy things too -- like the fire extinguisher fight in the McCreless parking lot, and ghost hunting at the many places (and having that bull chase us at one of them -- you remember, the bull with that luminescent piece of rock imbedded in his forehead and made it look like he had 3 eyes), skating doing our figure 8s and sowcows(?sp), writing to our men-friends when they were away (even though our parents forbade us from writing or visiting them), water skiing, getting sunburned, and just plain running all around the lakes in the ski boat, enjoying camping and fireworks, walking the grounds of the Insane Asylumn on S Presa St, visiting Kerrville area and your grandma's place, shooting and hunting, and the list goes on and on and on.  I loved your momma and dad almost as much as I loved my own and felt they were a second family.  I remember the concerts we put on in your livingroom with you playing your cornet and me playing my violin -- we weren't good but it was fun.  Yes I forgave you a long time ago when you used to laugh at me as I was practicing new dance steps or playing the accordian and all the other stupid things I tried to do.  We may not have been good at all things but we WERE good at many and loved playing against each other tennis, or running track and jumping the hurdles.  Life was so good and simple back then.  You and your parents will always be missed by me. ....eat some heavenly rice-a-roni for me too........... Love ya forever -- until we meet again.....
