In '59 I entered the college of graduate studies and graduated with a Master of Science. I did my masters thesis "Studies and improvements to an air infiltration instrument". Before I obtained my new degree I st arted work with the National Research Council, Division of Building Research, just across the street from the Engineering Building. My work started with a continuation of my thesis plus studies of heat loss in buildings. In 1965 I was stationed in Ottawa where I worked in the Thermal Conductivity Lab on the NRC campus East of Ottawa. While there I designed and built new equipment to measure the thermal conductivity of insulations. In 1968 I returned to Saskatoon and continued my work on Infiltration in buildings.
