Ken Strong

Since graduation I attended 4 years of Bible College and have been a youth pastor, music director and now founder and senior pastor since 1994 of Father's Arms Fellowship here in Scott City. Our church is housed in the building that was the IGA grocery, Western Auto and Rip Shed on the corner of Lincoln and Main just across from the caboose. We've lived in Tulsa-Oklahoma, Heston-Kansas, Fort Worth-Texas, Beatrice-Nebraska, Fredericktown, Warrenton, St. Charles and back to Scott City in Missouri. We've had a blast raising our children and working for the Lord. My wife and I have several CD Music Albums, one of all original songs written by us. Take a look at our website for fun. It was in Math Class taught by Mr. O'Brien. I had been working a lot, was tired and fell asleep in class. The bell woke me up and there were a bunch of you standing around me and all started laughing. I was leaning back and had fallen asleep with my mouth open and you had stuffed a bunch of paper in my mouth. Thanks for the memory!! LOL

Another memory (hope this is not too x-rated for a pastor - lol) It was before class and a bunch of us were goofing around. Jill Estes (whom I had a crush on...sorry Jimmy) and I decided to play a game. She had a pencil and acted like she was going to plunge it into my hand. I'd move my hand away at the last minute and she never did come all the way down with the pencil...so I got brave and left my hand in place the same time she decided to get brave and she broke the pencil in my hand. She was worried and didn't want to get in trouble so she asked me what she could do to make it better. I said "well you could give me a kiss". She did...and it worked, i felt better! One of my kids in church got a hold of this story and told Mrs. Pinkston...you kissed my pastor! LOL
