I remember Steve was an awesome tennis player. When it was his serve he would toss the ball up and when it came down 5 minutes later (it seemed), he would ace you with his serve. The few times it would slam into the net it would hit so hard all you could think of was "Dang..I do not want to get in front of that one!".

Steve died in an automobile accident in California around 1981. He was the first close friend of our age group that I lost. I think of him often.
