One of my favorite Fernberg memories was sneaking up behind him in the skating club parking lot in the dead of night (he was the parking lot attendant). Got within a couple of feet and yelled at the top of my lungs. Never saw a person jump so high and run so fast. But I'm sure most of you will agree: he deserved it! RIP old friend. Will be thinking of you in the dead of night in the skating club parking lot this evening.
