Since graduation, I completed my BA at the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire with a secondary ed social studies certification. Went to the US Peace Corps for two years and taught in Papua New Guniea. After returning I took a job with Eckerd Youth Alternatives as a teacher for troubled adolescents. I worked for EYA for 13 years and now teach 6th grade at a local middle school.
Met my now husband at EYA and was married in 1994. After completing my masters we had two beautiful daughters.
We love hiking through the Appalacians. I have taken up running in an effort to keep sane. You be the judge of my progress on that front.
