I was in a motorcycle accident in May of 2009 and sustained a severe head trauma.My husband was the driver of the cycleand left me just after the accident. I am in the process of a lengthy recovery. I have been a nurse since 1993,graduated from WIT.I wanted to do something productive while disabled and so earned my BSN and MSN! onlineI attended a Mercy Me concert in Feb.2011 and won a $10,000 scholarship to Grand Canyon University! I graduated with my BSN in May 2012 from GCU- with a 3.6 GPA despite the head trauma!My MSN was 3.8 GPA, earned in July 2014. Now, I am working on my doctoral degree in nursing- perhaps I like school too much!?
