Mrs. Pamela Yvonne Tripp Heath, 62, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center in Greenville. Born September 27, 1955, she was the daughter of Alton Rodrick and Yvonne Potts Tripp. A Registered Nurse, Pam worked at Vidant Medical Center prior to her retirement where she rose to the position of Assistant Nurse Manager of the surgery unit. Pam was the perfect example of a loving heart; she showered love and kindness to all those who crossed her path, especially her family. Her kind manner made her an exceptional nurse but a most loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Pam is preceded in death by her father, Alton Tripp and brother, Ricky Tripp.Surviving are her husband, Lyman Heath, Jr; sons, Lyman Heath III (Tracy) of Snow Hill and Jay Heath (Tina) of Winterville; grandchildren, Lilly Heath, Anna Klaire Heath, Emma Grace Heath, Laura Ann Heath, Dylan Heath, Tyler Rouse, Ethan Heath and Owen Heath; sisters, Judith Ann Mercer (Dennis), Judy Carol Edwards, Jean Leigh (Cris), Joan Lanier (Dwain), and Jane Lanier (Timmy); brothers, Rod Tripp (Marsha) and Marc Tripp (Lisa); and a special brother-in-law, Bennie Heath.Funeral services will be held 7 PM Wednesday, July 18, at the chapel of Taylor-Tyson Funeral Service with Pastor Rusty Conyers officiating. Committal services will be held 11 AM Thursday, July 19, at the Snow Hill Cemetery.The family will receive friends immediately following the service on Wednesday evening and other times at the Heath residence.
