I know it is early but I’m proactive. I know some of you didn’t know but the GCHS Class of 1973 has been actively making a difference.  We started donating each year towards a Scholarship fund.

The Class of ’73 is very happy that we are able to donate towards providing scholarships for students. We hope you will join us this year 2023 and make it bigger and better.

It is held during Memorial Day week-end every year.  We had a great turnout at the Greene County Training School/South Greene High School “Charlotte J. Johnson Old Fashion Family Picnic” held on Sunday, May 27th 2017.  Special thanks goes out again to Darius Shackleford who was our chef and host for this event. The food was delicious and the fellowship was a blessing to have the opportunity to get together once again. Last year, 2017, for our first time, we collected a total of $232.00 and this year, 2018, we significantly increased our amount by collecting a total of $740.00 to donate to the Alumini Association's scholarship fund on behalf of the class of 1973. It is so inspiring to see how we continue to come together as a class for a good cause. It will be great to see our class listed on the donation board again next year in our support of providing scholarships to deserving students.
