Melissa Squillaro Borowitz

I graduated from WVU with a degree in chemistry in 1994. After working at Mylan Pharmaceuticals in Morgantown for a few years, I moved to the DC area. I worked for another pharmaceutical company for a couple of years and then got a job at the National Science Foundation in Arlington, VA. I was there for about six years. During that time, on a vacation to Blackwater Falls in Davis, WV, my husband, Robert, and I happened upon a building on the main street that was for sale. We decided to buy it and open up a restaurant. It took us another three years to fix the place up. We opened Hellbender Burritos in August 2007. We love this area and although we don't have too much free time anymore, we try our best to take advantage of the great mountain biking, hiking, cross country skiing, etc. that this area has to offer.
