Sue Boyack Washburn

I think that I was one of the last ones to get married our age. I married Dave Washburn from Mapleton (yes, a Springville Devil) one month after our 5 year class reunion. We have lived in Utah Valley our whole life! We have four daughters that have been a blast to raise! Our oldest got married in March, so I now have my first son (in-law)! We have had such a fun life, with times of not-so-fun, but we always feel so blessed. Knowing all of you has made me who I am. Thanks!

I'll come up with a better one later, I'm sure, but the one that came to mind first is a picture in our Sr. yearbook. It's a picture being taken of the cheerleaders (me included) and we are all down on the floor just cracking up. What happened is sweet Mr. Olsen (who I really liked as a teacher) was taking our picture and we were in a formation. I had cute Gaylene Hazel on my shoulders. Mr. Olsen kept backing up and backing up to fit us all in the picture. He backed up too far and knocked his head really hard on the pay phone. His glasses flew off, his camera fell and I dropped cute Gaylene. So that explains the lovely picture of us in the yearbook!
