I'm looking forward to the upcoming class reunion, school was a blast!
I didn't study that hard but I made a lot of friends and I tried my best to be friends with everyone. Unfortunately my dark side came out sometimes though...
I loved all the years ahead and before of me, especially the class of 1969 who ended up being my wife.
I never missed a day of high school because I didn't want to work on the farm, although I wouldn't liked to be on the golf team..
We still have the family farm and my mother turned 100 in March!!! Unfortunately I lost my Brother two weeks ago, my dog died, and I divorced my wife of 38 years with 35 of those being happy years.
My 32 Year old son is my best friend and we try to have breakfast or lunch as much as possible, and we've been working together for 12 years. We love our jobs making people happy through the construction trades.
I get to take time off when I need it and do what I want!
If anybody is staying in one of the resorts in Okoboji let me know so I don't have to drive so much. I lost my driver..

5/16/2013- For the upcoming class reunion I am hoping to see all the regulars, and some I haven't seen in 45 years (that would be great). I had a great time with everybody during high school, and even some of the teachers. I have little news to share, I'm still married and It's been a beautiful 34 years. I'm still working with my son, and have been for the last 9 years. We just won "Remodeler" Magazines Big 50 Award, an award that goes out to the top 50 remodelers in the United States for 2013. That award was given in Washington DC on May 9th and 10th. I did just sell my house that I've been living in for the past 23 years, so I think It's time for more vacations and Golf!
I hope to see all my past friends that always come back, and maybe some that haven’t. We all gain weight and lose hair, be there. I’d love to see John, Steve, Greg, and too many more to list. As for me I’m still kind of working with my son, Jake, and have for the past 9 years. He does all the work and I take all the credit, R.D. Schuller Construction has been in business 40 years with the same name. I am blessed.
There is one person I have been thinking about these past few weeks. She saved my life a couple times. One of those times occurred 35 years ago in Lincoln, Nebraska. I was hitting golf balls off a roof into a swimming pool 4 stories down. Of course the Police showed up and I was ALMOST hauled downtown, however when the door opened to the cruiser and the light came on I noticed Barry Rogers was the cop driving the car. We recognized each other and Barry went to his superior and pleaded not to arrest me since I was good friends with his sister. Then I went back into the party and the cops found another guy that was up on the roof and arrested him.
Barry must have remembered that 1 night I had my first kiss with Lianne. We were playing hide and seek and it was quite the memory for an 8 year old boy.
Yet another memory puts me 25 years back in Spencer Iowa, at the reunion. My wife went home early from the party, and I hitched a ride in Lianne’s boat of a car that had no air conditioning. Here I was with 3 women who hadn’t met in years, had a few too many drinks, and are dropping me off at my parent’s home. That’s the way I will always remember Lianne, spreading joy and kindness wherever she went.
I got my second kiss 30 years later and was walking up the sidewalk when I noticed my parents looking out the window, and my wife looking out the bedroom window. 3 Girls can make a lot of noise! Just so you know I’ve been married to that same woman Patty, for 34 beautiful years. With Valentines Day coming up, I just wanted to share a few memories about my friend Lianne, she will be missed.

Woodstock 69'
After a few years of traveling i started my buisness in 1973 (Rdschuller Construction) we are celebrating 35 years of buisness. I'am happily married to my wife Patty & we are celebrating our 29th wedding aniversary. In 2003 i was awarded state remodeler of the year award in for national home builders association (NE). Our work speaks for itself, but we are regularly awarded Best of Omaha remodeling. My son (Jake) is now Vice President of my company, & he lets me take vacations this last Sep in San Fran & Lake Tahoe, Jan, Feb Arizona, March in Hawaii. Now I have to be back in Omaha to work for a couple of months. I am looking forward to this class reunion since the last decade. If anyone wants to play golf before the class reunion (402) 333-8181
