June 1, 1940 - June 28, 2016

Avery did NOT want his obituary posted in the newspaper. However, Paul Petraska checked with his daughters to see if a short write-up for the In Memory page would be acceptable. They concurred. His suggestion is posted below.

Avery passed away at home on June 28th in Claremont, NH. He was surrounded by his daughters Debbie, Dory and Dawn who provided their loving and dedicated care throughout his long illness. 

Avery was a member of Springfield High School's class of 1958.
