65th 1958 HIGH SCHOOL REUNION
June 16, 17, 18 2023
JUNE 16, 17 and 18 2023: WOW, WOW and WOW. What a funfilled successful 65th High School Reunion weekend! On Friday, June 16th we started with the 8:00 am breakfast at Riverside Restaurant with TWENTY-FIVE people attending the breakfast. There were six classmates who toured the Conservatory at the Hartness House at 1:30 PM. (Brent Veysey and his daughter and her husband, Bruce Fairbank and Natalie Brown.) Then onto the Pizza Party at Gene Adam's house at 4:00 PM which also was well attended. All enjoyed lots of pizza and great fellowship!
Saturday, June 17th was a rainy day but we still had lots of classmates riding on the float and several hardy walkers going the whole distance: (Judy Turnail, Dottie Richardson, Cynthia Ploof, Diane Tabor, Bobbie White, Natalie Brown, Pris Millay, Clarence Abbott AND Bob Richards and Richard Bonarrigo, Diane's husband). Vaughn Hadwen's band played wonderful music which helped all us to keep "Marching On"! Our FLOAT "Still Having A Whale Of A Time" won 2nd prize for most Humerous!!! At 4:00 PM FIFTY-ONE of us all gathered at the Sumner House where there was lots of greetings and memories being discussed. Many thanks to Brent and Judy for "Circling the Troops" for their "Now & Then" presentation. Then onto the more than adequate DELICIOUS BUFFET MEAL with DESSERT!
Sunday, June 18th once again brought FORTY-ONE of us together at the "Inn at Weathersfied at 9:00 am for the best breakfast I have had in a long time. So much food and such a great time! Again this was a generous donation by Diana Lupien Bacon and we all expressed our thanks and best wishes to her. It was a bit of a challenge to have a class photo but Priscilla Petraska did a fine job "herding us together." Lots of fun, smiles and laughter. As one classmate put it: "A phenomenal Weekend of Renewal"!
Thanks to our photographers: Natalie Brown, Bruce Fairbank and Priscilla Petraska many photos will be coming to be posted on this site for those classmates that were unable to attend.
Many, many thanks to everyone who helped with the Reunion and to all who made the trip to Vermont!!!!! Special thanks to the husbands, family members and adopted spouses of our deceased classmates who made it possible for all to attend!!
