Really sorry to read of Harry's death. For me, the new kid on the block in 1957, Harry was a great friend. I have always felt sad that we never re-connected later in our lives.

I too considered Harry to be a good friend. However, I never did see him again after we graduated. I'd tried to contact him several times over the years but was never successful. Ironically I had just looked up his telephone number with the thought of trying again and then this morning got word of his passing.

May he rest in peace.

Harry was one of my best friends.  Harry, Tom Hurd, and I were on the business staff of the Green Horn and sat at the back table.  And whenever anyone came back to ask for someone on the business staff, we would usually ask whether they wanted to speak to "Tom, Dick, or Harry".

I lost touch with Harry soon after he left Springfield and maybe moved to Keene.  I am indebted to Fred and others who have sustained the class web site for bringing some closure with the publishing of the obituary and other information about Harry and his family.

I am surprised to learn that Harry's father Raymond is still alive in Toms River New Jersey.  I hope to make contact with some of Harry's family this year.  It appears that Harry worked his way through the difficult times of the untimely death of his wife and daughter and built a new and happy life for himself eventually culminating in living in Rutland.

Thanks for the information that will allow me to bring closure to this loss of a dear friend.

Dick
