Cynthia Zielonko Hanson

February 10, 1940 - March 23, 2001

NORTH BERWICK, Maine — Cynthia E. Zielonko Hanson, 61, of Linscott Road, passed away Friday morning, March 23, 2001, at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass., after a long illness.

She was born Feb. 10, 1940, in Springfield, Vt., the daughter of Victor and Ledia Krasowsky Zielonko. In 1958, she graduated from Springfield High School. In 1960, she married Erik R. Hanson, later moving to Maine in 1963. Cynthia was a very talented lady in all respects as well as a loving wife and wonderful mother.

She was predeceased by her mother and father and a brother, Robert Zielonko. Surviving are her husband, Erik Hanson of North Berwick; a daughter, Heidi Hanson Clark, wife of Thomas C. Clark of Berwick ; a son, Kurt Hanson and wife Terry; and two grandchildren, Leda Hanson and Tanya Pickering, all of Wells.

A funeral service will be held Monday, March 26, 2001, at the Bethel Christian Church, Lower Main Street, North Berwick, Maine, with the Rev. Robert G. Cole Sr. officiating. There will be no calling hours. Spring interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, South Berwick. Arrangements are by the Johnson Funeral Home, North Berwick.
