Richard Leet VIEW PROFILE

Richard Wayne Leet, 80, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Springfield on Tuesday, February 9, 2021. 

He was born June 23, 1940 in Springfield, the son of Guy Francis Leet and Madeline (Foster) Leet. He attended Springfield schools and graduated from Springfield High School in 1958. 

Richard served in the Vermont Army National Guard. He was employed with Cone Automatic Machine Company, and Fellows Gear Shaper. He was also an antiques dealer. He worked as a painter at The Woodstock Inn as well as other various construction projects in the area for many years. Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman and enjoyed collecting. 

He is survived by longtime companion Robin Chamberlain; two daughters, Lisa Leet Young and husband Larry, and Kathy Leet Kennedy and Michael Martin; seven grandchildren, Lindsay, Logan, Jack, Hunter, Olivia, Keagan, and Holden; one brother, David P. Leet and wife Bonnie; nephew Mitchell; and three nieces, Kelly, Karen, and Katie. He was predeceased by his parents, Guy and Madeline Leet. 

A graveside service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, April 9 at Oakland Cemetery in Springfield. Davis Memorial Chapel is assisting with arrangements.

So sorry to read about Dick passing away.  Natalie Brown told me about it yesterday.  My condolances to his family.  Priscilla Millay
