SPRINGFIELD - Timothy R. Dionne, 59, died July 7, 2000, at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, N.H., after a brief illness.

He was born in Claremont, N.H., son of Paul and Corinne Dionne.

He was a resident of Springfield for most of his life and graduated from Springfield High School.

Mr. Dionne received an honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 1966, and had worked for Bryant Grinder Corp. for more than 25 years.

He was a member of the Springfield Moose Lodge 679, and had been active in many of its affairs.

He enjoyed fishing and traveling.

Survivors include his mother and two brothers of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Mark's Episcopal Church on Fairground Road in Springfield.

A reception will follow at the Moose Lodge on South Street in Springfield.
