I just received this note from Bunnie and Steve Ovitt concerning John Hilliard's passing.

Classmates:  I heard today that John Hilliard  has passed away.  He was
> such a nice man and a great teacher.  I just spoke with him on Wed. at
> Shaw's and he looked very tired.  We went on several trips with he and his
> wife and the Springfield Seniors and my Mom and Dad.  His wife is at the
> Gill Home in Ludlow. Steve and I will miss him.  He taught us both.

Hi This is Mark Dodges daughter.  I wanted to let you know he is at new london ,nh hospital for long term care. He has Dementia and it there now. Thank you  My uncle john his brother is still in north springfield ,vt

Marie Foster Angel died Saturday, Dec. 15 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. She was 78 years old. She was born and grew up in Springfield, Vt., graduating in 1959 from Springfield High School.
