Baltimore, Vt.
Delbert E. Foster 80, passed away at his home in Baltimore, Vermont on Saturday morning November 23, 2019. He was born in Springfield, Vermont on August 27, 1939 the son of Leon and Clarabelle Foster. He attended Springfield Schools, and graduated from Springfield High School.
He served in the National Guard for many years, retiring as a Staff Sergeant.
He married Suzanne Noyes in 1996 in Londonderry, Vermont. She predeceased him on July 30, 2017.
Delbert was employed as a Carpenter in the area for many years, and worked for several years with Whelen Engineering in Charlestown, N.H. before his retirement.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and watching old western movies. He was a loving and caring husband to his wife Suzanne.
He is survived by son George Bargfrede and his wife Lorraine of Baltimore, Vermont, 4 granddaughters; Janel (Travis) Palmieri of Chester, Vt., Larissa Bargfrede of Weathersfield, Vt., Candace Bargefrede of Baltimore, Vt., and Marcia Herman of Denver, NC. 1 great grandson Mile Palmieri. Also by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was predeceased by his parents, his wife Suzanne, and by one sister.
A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family.
