1939-2013 CLAREMONT, NH Charles E Pellerin, 74, died Monday, August 19th in Manchester, NH. Mr. Pellerin was born in Bethel, VT on July 16, 1939 the eldest son of Forrestt Alden Pellerin and Marjorie (Dwyer) Pellerin. He grew up in North Springfield, VT and graduated from Springfield High School, Class of 1959. He did his military training at Fort Dix, NJ and served in the US Army and VT Army National Guard for seven years. He married Irene Bellingham and divorced; they had two Sons together Phillip (wife Jacqueline) of Putney, VT and Patrick (wife Melanie) of Taylorsville, CA. He married Kimberly Sylvester of Charlestown, NH on September 1, 2000 and together they raised one son Christopher of Charlestown and daughter Courtney of Billerica, MA. He has two grandsons and seven granddaughters. In the late 1970's Charlie owned and operated a hairdressing business from his home on Main Street in Charlestown, NH. After which he purchased a home in Walpole Village. Following a long held dream he bought a typical small farm in Westminster, VT. After his marriage to Kimberly Sylvester, they made their home in Claremont, NH for many years. He worked for Fellows Gear Shaper for three years and Love Joy Tool for 23 years. After retirement he bought, refurbished, and sold property in the Claremont area. After his second retirement, unable to stop altogether, he went to work for Lebanon School District and retired in 2001. He was a long time member of the Audubon Society and the Sierra Club. Like most New Englanders, a strong lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox and was a charter member of the MLB Insiders Club. Survivors include his wife of 13 years, three sons, one daughter, five brothers, two grandsons, seven granddaughters, five cousins, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his mother, father, one brother and one granddaughter. He had a great love for his family and will be dearly missed. There will be a graveside service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 14th in the Forest Hills Cemetery in Charlestown, NH followed by a celebration of life at the Sylvester home on Briggs Hill. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to animal shelters or food shelves of choice.
