Our dear Natalie McLeod passed on April 20, 2015. The funeral was on April 24 in Ontario. Natalie is survived by sisters Bridgit and Helena--also alumnae of ICHS--and other family.
Natalie was ever a sweet and gracious soul, and she will be sadly missed. Her sister, Bridgit, posted the following on Facebook:
Natalie was diagnosed with advanced breast cancer in September 2014. Unfortunately, it had progressed to a stage where little could be done in terms of treatment. Natalie spent her final days surrounded by family and friends at the Ian Anderson Hospice in her hometown of Oakville. The courage and grace she displayed throughout was truly inspiring. Her sweet, kind and caring disposition never faltered. Helena delivered the eulogy at Natalie's funeral, and commented that at the end, Natalie was smiling while everyone else was crying. Natalie's faith was such that she had not the slightest doubt that she was finally going home.
