Louis Kastner

Graduated from Creighton University (twice). First time in 1969. After that I did the wild oats sowing and went thru long hair hippy freak stage. During this phase met my wife to be in Omaha on St Patrick's Day.
She was celebrating her college graduation and new job and I was hitting all the bars that offered free food. We got married 4 months later, the love-at-first-site thing.
Enrolled in pharmacy school and graduated Jan 1974. We took off for California the next week. Bought a house in Mission Viejo CA, sold it 3 years later and moved to Northern Califorina.
Bought a franchise Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy (there was one in St Joe near LeBlond for some time) in Petaluma CA. Sold it 23 years later, moved to Auburn CA for short time then moved to Oakland to be near our daughter and family.
Next 8 years worked 3 days a week for chain pharmacy. Retired for good in 2012.

I remember (may not be exact details but close) Al Boos in Brother Francis typing class one winter day. The windows were wide open and snow was blowing in the room. Al tore some paper and fashioned icicles that he hung from his glasses. I think Al got the ruler.

Siting next to David Jones in Brother George's physics class. "Pretty Woman" was a big hit at the time. One of us would start tapping our foot https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PLq0_7k1jk and we would seque into the song. Brother George was oblivious.

My yearbook is full of "getting nailed to the wall" references iterated by Brother Kenneth.
