I graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in 1993 with a Bachelors in Elementary Education and began teaching at Kings Mountain Memorial Elementary. I taught there for 11 years and then transferred to Stanford Elementary in 2004 (I have just finished my 4th year there). I have been teaching Kindergarten 13 out of my 15 years. Just this May 2008, I completed my Rank 1 in Educational Leadership (I am done with school forever!)
Back in 1994 I married my husband Kevin Bandura and then in 1999 we had our first daughter - Kaycie Alexis. Then in 2002 we had our second child, a son - Kade Logan. Both of our children keep us very busy with soccer, softball, and t-ball. We are constantly on the go and we both love every minute of watching and Kevin helping coach our kids throughout the year. Both of our kids are in school now where I teach and it is great to watch them grow.
Kevin and I are both huge UK Wildcat fans and we enjoy spending time at UK football games in the fall. Since we both teach in the Lincoln Co. school system we also spend a lot of time at LCHS sporting events. I am also involved with the Lincoln Co. Junior Miss committee (of which I was never a participant - go figure). I guess that's it - I am just a mom, a wife, a teacher, and a sports fan - all of which I am glad to be. Go CATS!!!!
