I got married in 1990, had a son in 91, a daughter in 92 and divorced in 95. I went to Somerset Tech in '90 and got a Med-Tech cert.and worked in a nursing home passing medication for 6 years. I decided I couldn't force myself to give one more suppository, so I quit and went to work for Dr.Ross, where I've been for over 13 years. I also work part time at Somerset Undertaking and Crematory. I plan on becoming a funeral director when the dentist I work for retires in a couple of years.
I met Jerry in '96 while I worked in the nursing home(no he wasn't a patient). We married in 1998. He is a Lieutenant with the Somerset Fire Dept, an fire investigator with Forensic Fire Investigation Bureau in Sheperdsville, he works for Somerset Undertaking some, and has a small vinyl siding business.....We rarely see each other-so our marriage is wonderful! We also have rental property (if anyone needs a place to live). Seriously he's a great man,I don't know what I'd do without him(probably have alot more closet room).
My son graduated from SHS 2009.He will be starting college in the summer, after taking a year off because he needed "a break" he spent the summer being a life gaurd for the 3rd year @ the water park and hanging with his friends...and lost about 60 pounds. He hasn't really decided on a major yet, but is considering between arson investigation and electrical engineering. Thanks to Dr.Clinard, five years in braces and thousands of dollars, he has a beautiful smile, and laughes constantly. He's my crazy kid...thinks everything is funny. He received Eagle Scout in February 2009-that was many years in the making. So Proud!!
My daughter is very quiet and very sweet. She's the calmness I needed with a child like Terry. She spends unknown amounts of time on the computer and texting people on her phone-she averages around 14,000 texts a month, I'm not sure how she gets anything done. None the less, she's a moody teenager sometimes....reminds me alot of myself. She will graduate this year, May 2010, and turn 18 in July. She plans on starting college in the summer and getting a degree in social work. She has such a soft and caring heart, I know she can help people in need.
