Pat Schneider
Residing In: Port Angeles, WA USA
Occupation: Utility worker - meter department
Children: Son, Rob 37, is a Fire Medic in Centralia, WA (and mechanical engineer and dental hygentist - I am thinking More…a professional student!) and he just got married this last February in Jamaica. Daughter, Melisa is 34 and a Creative Director at a travel marketing company in Seattle. She is married to a man she went to kindergarten with and they have my only grandchild - a 2 yr old girl, Olivia, who informs us that she is "not a baby anymore". I don't see my son often due to his schedule so we have to email and chat on the phone. My daughter lives 2 1/2 hours away but we get together often. We're best friends and always have a fun time! Olivia chats up a storm and sings a lot and I so enjoy the weekends that I keep her so Mom and Dad can have a night to themselves.
Yes! Attending Reunion
Comments:

Ok, I'll try to remember back 40 years...hmmm, the first 5 or so years after school seems like one mistake lead to another. But nothing grows us up like having children so life improved!
I got a real estate license to list homes that my husband built and after our divorce I finally went to college. In 1982, I started working at the Clallam County Public Utility District (as a paper shredder! It was one of 4 part time jobs I had to help with college fees...oh, and feed my two kids) and I am still with the PUD (no, we don't even have paper shredders anymore). I worked in the Records Dept, Customer Service, Accounting (more college classes!), Purchasing - I liked that and when people asked what I did all day I would tell them...I shop and buy! and then the Meter Shop where I currently work. I install electric meters - mostly our Automatic Reading meters and I test and calibrate them and maintain that system. I hope to retire in about 5 years.
For fun I have fostered/rescued dogs and am down to two of my own right now. I love walking them and watching the big one swim. Mostly I enjoy spending time with my kids and family and friends. I play single and double deck pinochle a couple times a week. I try to work out twice a week but it's hard to stick to that with the great weather we have been having here lately.

School Story:

I just enjoyed my years at Stephenson High so much! Loved the small town, friendly classmates and good friends. For some reason(??), it seems Marge and Pat Kakuk and me ended up in the principal's office more than was necessary. I still remember the principal saying, "I told my wife that you girls are evil. And my wife said, No, they are not evil - they are just mischievious." We all agreed with his wife and told him that he should believe her too!
