Randy was born
June 23, 1953
in Streator
to Elmer and Jeanne (Burns) Kruger
He was a teacher for many years
 Most recently teaching
at Lombard Middle School
in Galesburg
He was a former member
of St. Anthony Church in Streator
and a member of the Illinois Teachers Association.
He was a 1971 graduate of Woodland High School
and received a bachelor's degree
from Illinois State University
and a master's degree
from the University of Illinois.

He is survived by his parents of Streator;
two brothers, James (Jennifer) Kruger of Streator
and Robert (Diana) Kruger of Columbus, Ohio.
