YAKIMA - Linda Skiles, 54, of Yakima passed away October 18, 2007 at Yakima Valley Memorial Hospital.

Linda was born on July 29, 1953 to Richard and Treva Rogers of Sunnyside, WA. Linda moved to Yakima, attended business school and married Ken Skiles. She worked for Prudential Insurance for many years before returning to college to earn her nursing degree. Linda spent many more years dedicating herself to the care of nursing home residents in Yakima.

Linda enjoyed travel, camping, and most importantly spending time with her close family and friends. She was caring and compassionate; devoting her time and energy to the health and happiness of her loved ones and her patients. She was always there whenever anyone needed her. Linda was the best daughter, wife, mother and friend one could ask for.

She is survived by her mother and best friend Treva, husband and soulmate Kenny, son Eric, brother Richard, sister Jackie, nieces Lonnie and Jordon, father-in-law Roland Skiles and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Richard, mother-in-law Dorothy, daughter Nicole, and her grandparents.
