Ok, here's the scoop. After gradiatin' I joined the Navy and went to California. Made it through boot camp but couldn't pass my tech school, so I requested being sent to the USS Sampson DDG 56 in Mayport, FL and ended up getting shipped to the USS Simpson, Newport, RI, go figure. I guess they couldn't read the Yeoman's writing. I was early discharged in spring of 2001 for multiple lack of respect for superior officer infractions as well as being AWOL. Nothing major there, but if your late 5 minutes, your AWOL, and I was late a lot. SO, got out, went to NH for my birth fathers parents 50th wedding anniversary and kinda got stuck in NH. That was in 1991. In 1992 I met my wife and wouldn't you know she got pregnant on like our 5th date, so I have a son, Phillip, who is turning 17 this September but he lives with his grandmother in NH, long story. Any of you that I talked with at the 5th year reunion pretty much already know the story. Then in 1997 my lovely daughter Kelly was born and it as been Hell ever since. Just kidding, but any of you other fathers with a daughter know what I mean. Since high school I have worked in many different jobs from cooking, telemarketing, road construction, ski areas to the job I have now as a courier. I get to be outside, on the road, 4 days a week traveling from Williston to Rutland and back so I get a pretty good range of weather. It can be snowing in Burlington, Hailing in Middlebury and the sun shining and above freezing in Rutland, but I love it. I am not stuck at a desk, or in a cubicle with no sunlight except maybe for lunch. OH, forgot to mention that we left NH in 2001, slept on my birth mother's living room floor for 5 months before getting the appartment we now have in Richmond, right on rte 2 accross from the Harley shop, technically in Jonesville. Any of you still going skiing at Bolton drive right by me and don't even know it, so next time, at least honk, lol.
Got married on July 12th, 2003 after being with Sherry for 12 years. Figured it was time to make it legal, right.
Look forward to seeing you all in Aug. Since it is the weekend following my 38th birthday, I expect an extra piece of cake and maybe a card, just kidding again, but it should be one hell of a birthday party. See you soon.
