I have pastored, been a worship leader, done prision ministry, ministry to troubled youth, been a Missionary, & worked with Teen Challenge, & City Team (Christian drug & alcohol recovery ministries)
I have had my own radio broadcast and have been on local and national television chrisitan programs.
I am Married to Barbara Burgos Ortiz, a beautiful hispanic lady from Ecuador, South America. I Speak Spanish fluently. I Just moved back to Sylacauga from San Jose, California. I still love and record music. I have 7 or 8 guitars (I lose count) a bass, and 2 keyboards, and have my own home music recording studio. I have recorded numerous Christian CDs (5 or 6 I think) though they are not your normal run of the mill Christian music. They basically sound like sanctified Stevie Ray Vaughn or ZZ top, etc! If you are interested in getting a copy let me know. I have written one Christian book so far and plan to write more. My plans are to continue in Chritian ministry, would like to do my own music videos, and hope to start my own television program soon.

I am also interested in planting a church for people who have never gone to church before or who used to be in church but for some reason have been turned off by organized religion and are no longer involved. I hate religion and have no desire to be religious, BUT I LOVE JESUS! and I love people. I have given the last 29 years of my life ministering to broken, hurting, wounded people. You all know the kind of person I was before I accepted Christ. I was wild and crazy and lived for drugs and rock n roll as hard as I could go. Out of all the class mates who have passed away, I guess no one figured I would live past 19 years old, must less still be here at 53, but by the grace of God I am still here. I am not a perfect man, but I am a grateful man. I thank God everyday I'm alive that I am still here, and that I am not in hell or in prison, and that I still am in my right mind. (some might question that!!!) For me: it's all about Jesus. If I live to be a hundred years old or if I die tomorrow, am going to live to bring praise, glory and honor to Him while I still have breath in my body!!
