After graduating, I went to CACC for a little while. I then joined the Air Force, where I met my husband. We married in 1994. I had twin girls in 1995 and then my son in 1997. I went back to college after my son started Kindergarten and I received degrees in Secondary Education, Political Science, and History. Never thought that I would like politics as much as I do, but everyone changes over time. I currently own and operate a motorcycle shop in Gainesville, Texas.
