The achievements of this years football team must be remembered as an outstanding teameffort.  Each man knew he had a job to perform and did his best to do so.  By working hard at practice, always to improve their abilities, mantaining a good mental attitude and a great desire to win,  all addded to their success.

After the first four games only twenty seniors and ten juniors were left to complete the seaon. The team was fortunate in that none of their key personnel, yet  they overcome these obstacles with their love for the game, their willingness to work hard and improve themselves, and the attude that, "a team that won't be beaten, can't be beaten."

It would be hard to pick any outstandingindividual because all came through where they had to .  Forman with punting, passing and running, Custer with his receiving, running, and defense,  Rash with his running, McGee and Stark blocking, Cory and Hennessey, with their receiving and blocking, Wilkinson and Strellner for the blocking and defence, Hardgrove on offense as blocking and center, Feisal, Brown, Wacha, Rutledge, and Dennis Kuykendall for fine defense play.  All of these boys brought about a formula for a successful season.

The season brought Coach Pastorino closer to the century mark in games won by bringing his career total to 95 wins, 40 losses, and 6 ties.

Coach Pastorino and Squiers are both extremely proud of the performance turned in by this group of football players and they feel that this was a season that future teams may look back on as an example of what a group of boys can do if they want to.

Our '64-'65 football squad deserves the plaudits of the community and the students body for a job well done.
