Marianne Sidorski Alcorn, 59, of Tempe, Arizona passed away on December 26, 2010. A Funeral Mass was held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 31, 2010 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1800 E. Libra Dr. in Tempe. Donations may be given to Holy Spirit in Marianne's name. Arrangements entrusted to Tempe Mortuary

Marianne was a daily reaffirmation that there is good in the world. She was the finest mother that Geoff and Nick ever could have hoped for. Marianne absolutely adored little Thomas, her grandson. She was a beautiful person with many facets that most people never got to see or know. We all know that she was responsible, caring and helpful to others. But, she also was sincere, tender, fragile and loving. We all are so fortunate that she shared part of her life with us, and will miss her tremendously.

 My heart goes out to Sid's sons and her little grandson.  Sid, Elvira and I used to have so much fun together in high school and at Bakersfield College.  She was a very kind, intelligent and loving person.  She was loved dearly and will be missed terribly.  Sid, we will miss you forever.
