Carol Chinnis Taylor 

Carol A. Taylor, 82, of Clyde, died at Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky, on Wednesday, December 27, 2024.

Carol was born on October 17, 1941. She was a graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School.

Mrs. Taylor was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Clyde. She had been in retail businesses most of her adult life, in Clyde and Fremont as well as other cities.

Carol was a SHOPPER! She loved to shop, especially with her daughters and granddaughters. Every year, there were shopping trips, with a dinner afterward.

On June 10, 1967, she married Robert Taylor. He preceded her on February 25, 2016.

Two daughters survive, Deborah (Shawn) Wagner of Fremont and Kelly (Roger) MacDonald of Clyde along with three grandchildren, Kristi (Spencer) Krupp, Brett MacDonald and Morgan Kuyken. Six great grandchildren also survive. Her special friend, Jim is among those who survive, as well.

Carol was preceded in death by her mother, Wilma (Whitman) Chinnis Remsberg; her father, Warren Chinnis and step father, Burton Remsberg.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 pm at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, Clyde. The funeral will be on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at 11:00 am with an hour visitation prior to the service with Pastor Tim Hubert officiating. Burial will be in McPherson Cemetery.
