Bev and Bill Roby
It was a hot but beautiful day. At my end of the table we were
wondering what has happened to Warren (Butch) Spencer, Dick Heebsh,
Larry and Ina Sager, Harold and Karen Blust Tuttle. We haven’t seen
them for sometime. We also talked about our 60th reunion coming up in
September. Hope they all come to that. Reservations have started coming
in. I got in on the end of a conversation Joan, Bev and Bill were
having about cleaning up a rental property. Not sure what that was all
about. Betty’s hip is getting better. She’s getting around better
these days.
Our next lunch is July 31. Until then, have a great summer. Take care.

February 2019:
We were finally able to get together this month after being frozen our in January. Believe me, there was a lot of catching up to do. Wich we had been at a round table to that we could have heard all of the conversations that were going on.
Don and Marilyn Davis, Polly Williams Hoffman, Karen Blust Tuttle and Harold, Della Kimmel Lenhart, Lynn Gamble, Ken and Bev Roby, Linda and Gene Miller and Joan Crilly Stoner attended this luncheon
Above are Bev and Ken Roby, Gene Miller, Lynn Gamble and Della Kimmel Lenhart who attended the November 2018 Luncheon.
October 2018:
To Gene Miller and my surprise (Joan), we were the only ones who attended this luncheon at TJWillies. Of course, we settled the world's problems while enjoying good food.
September 2018:
Above are Della Kimmel Lenhart, Gene Miller, Lynn Gamble, Marylynn Hartsel, Joan
Crilly Stoner, Steve Hartsel
Not sure what Gene and Lynn were talking about but Joan and I were
talking mostly about our class dinner last Saturday night. We thought everything
went well and everybody seemed to be having a good time moving around and
doing a lot of talking.
Steve and Marylynn told us they came from Florida for our dinner. They had stopped at McGowan’s Bar (must have been on Friday because a picture was in the A-T on Saturday morning) to get a sandwich. While they were there, someone hit their vehicle - a 2017 Jeep and totaled it! They have spent the rest
of their time here talking with insurance people and getting a rental car to drive back home. Just hope and pray they have a safe trip.

We decided to go back to T.J. Willies for our next lunch which will be July 26. Hope to see more of

May, 2018:
Hello Classmates,
We had a great lunch today. It was nice to see most of our usual classmates but really great to see the Pinkertons the Sagers, Lyn and Bev. I am not sure what all the conversations were about. Some of us were talking about our flowerbeds, Joan talked some about her recent trip to Belgium. Grandkids were mentioned. Just a lot of catching up with the ones that are not always with us.
Some of us are going to check out the Moose Dining Room for our Annual Dinner. We are moving it up to August 25 to try not to conflict with Ohio State ballgames.
Pictured are Dave Pinkerton, Gene Miller, Don and Marilyn Davis, Della Kimmel Lenhart, Lyn Fauber Frontz, Bev Morris Mestrey, Betty Mitchell Hall, Karen Blust and Harold Tuttle, Joan Crilly Stoner, Ina and Larry Sager and Carol Pinkerton.
Hope to see YOU in the picture in June!
April, 2018:
What a surprise when I got to lunch today. WOW! The table was already full. Ralph and Kathleen Berger are on their way home from spending the winter in Florida. Bev and Bill Roby are back from Arizona. And Tom Frederick is back from his winter home in Florida.
I am not sure what all they were talking about at the other end of the table, other than their medical issues. Don, Lynn and Bill got to talking about places that use to be up around the lake, then fishing, then the places they use to go drink 3-2 beer and finally old and new places to eat. Some topics that have never been talked about at lunch.
We did get around to discussing our Annual Dinner. Places that were mentioned were AmVets, Reino’s, Seneca Hills Club House, The Ranger Cabin, and Fort Ball Pizza. Do any of you have any thoughts on any of those places, or any other suggestions.

Hello Classmates,
As you can see we had a small turnout today. Not sure where everyone was. It was a nice day to be out and about. We had a small visitor today. My 10 year old granddaughter, Alyssa, didn't have school so was spending the day with Grandma. Always enjoy spending time with any of the grandchildren. I think the main topic of conversation was the sudden passing of our classmate Joan Reynolds Corriveau. Her ashes are being buried next Thursday at Greenlawn Cemetery at 11am. Other topics were about our other grandchildren, health issues, our pets(past and present), and always things from when we were in school. We never run out of things to talk about, but I don't know what Don and Butch were talking about. Didn't get in on any of their conversations.

Janurary 18, 2018:
As you can tell, we had a decent turnout for lunch today considering it is January and 20 degrees. A number of our regulars are out of town/state for the winter. Lynn Gamble made it from Fremont and Harold and Karen Tuttle came from Upper Sandusky. I am not sure what all the conversations were about but it was a talkative group. I know Lynn was asked about the mudslides in California, wondering if they were near where he had lived. He said they were not but the fires last summer were close to their place. Don and Marilyn Davis gave a report on their daughter-in-law. She has been in the hospital most of the week with the flu. They did expect her to be able to go home today. I reported on Joan Reynolds Corriveau. She is now a permanent resident of Autumnwood Care Center. Joan, Betty and Bev have all offered to help me clean out her apartment. Betty's house is up for sale. She will be moving into the new apartment building that is being built behind Tim Horton's (Where Jolly's use to be). Other conversations were just about catching up with each other about our holidays, kids, and pets. We decided to try having lunch on FRIDAY next month on February 16. Still at TJ's and at noon. See if we can get even a few more classmates come join our group.
That's it for this month. Until next month - take care of yourselves and each other.
October 25, 2017 Luncheon:
Hello Classmates,
I am sorry there is no picture again this month. I still have not gotten my computer fixed to accept my SD card. Hopefully one of these days I will get it fixed. Anyway, we had a great turnout for our lunch today. There were, of course, our usual classmates, Warren (Butch) Spencer, Gene and Linda Miller, Joan Crilly Stoner, Don and Marilyn Davis, Harold and Karen(Blust) Tuttle, Polly Williams Hoffman and myself, Della Kimmel Lenhart. But Lynn Gamble and Tom Fredrick also joined us. Lynn and his wife Mary have moved back to Ohio after living in California for a number of years. They now live in Fremont. Tom will be leaving Tiffin next week for his place in Florida for the winter. I was sitting at the other end of the table so I don’t know what those two, Don and Harold were talking about but at our end of the table we had several topics. Of course health issues always come up, politics was another subject but the one that was getting the most attention was the phone scams that everyone seems to be getting. Another topic was ironing. Karen and Polly couldn’t believe Linda Miller and I iron as much as we do. Polly said most people don’t iron much these days and I know some people that don’t even own an iron. I just think things look nicer when iron, my own personal opinion.
As you can see, we had a lot of difference topics to discuss today. It was good lunch and great to see Lynn and Tom. The weather was cold and windy but still not to bad a day to get out and about.
Our next lunch will be November 29. Have a good month and a Happy Thanksgiving (can’t believe it is that time already).
Take care of yourselves and each other.

February 22, 2017:
It was a nice group at lunch today. Don't see Larry and Ina or Dave very often. Always a real treat when we see classmates that can't make it very often. The main topic of conversation today was our health. Ina had surgery in January and is due to have a scope done on her knee next week. Gene has recently had a stent put in. Then the conversation just drifted from one to another about either our health or the health of family members. The weather was great for February. Temperature was in the 50's but it was cloudy all day. We also talked about our spring flowers that are coming up. I actually have some miniature irises that are blooming. Dave has a bunch of bulbs he had bought in the fall that he is still planting. Anyway, it was a great lunch with great friends and good conversation. We have missed some of our regular lunch people that have not been able to make it for one reason or another, a lot of health issues going on. Hope more can make it next month. The date will be March 29. We are starting to talk about our annual dinner in September. More information will be forthcoming on that.
January 25, 2017- disregard year on picture:
December 28, 2016
Attending today were my daughter Dara who is visiting from Maryland, Me
(Della Kimmel Lenhart), Marilyn Krause Davis, Don Davis, Karl Lenhart,
Gene Miller and Linda Miller
It was great seeing Marilyn and Don Davis again, and Linda Miller too.
The Davis’s have not been able to join us because of health issues for
the past few months. Linda Miller was free today to join us also. But
now, does anyone see Warren (Butch) Spencer in this picture????? I was
not going to make a reservation for lunch this month because of the
holidays but last month Butch said “Why not? We still have to eat." And
then look who didn’t show. (Just kidding Butch, hope everything is
alright.) For December 28 we had nice weather, sunny and temperature in
the mid 30’s. Topic of conversations were about how we celebrated
Christmas, plans for the new year, travel plans for 2017 and of course
health issues. On the table you can see a tray of homemade cookies and
candy that I had made. We all enjoyed them including the staff at
T.J.’s. I think everyone but the kitchen staff came by once they heard
we were sharing with them. Anyway, we had a good time and enjoyed each
others company.
I want to wish each and everyone of you a Very Happy, Healthy and Safe New
Year. Hope to see more of you in 2017.

October 2016:
Karl Lenhart, Della Kimmel Lenhart, Larry Sager, Ina Reedy Sager, Gene Miller, Harold Tuttle and Karen Blust Tuttle
Sorry it has taken so long to send this out. We were having trouble with the computer and then we went on vacation. Just got back from a fantastic vacation.
Drove out to Las Vegas to meet my brother Don and his wife Clarice. On the way, we went through Archer National Park and Zion National Park. Spent 4 days with Don and Clarice and took a helicopter ride over Hoover Dam, Lake Mead and the Grand Canyon. On our way home we drove across the new bridge at Hoover Dam, went back to the Grand Canyon for another day, drove on a long stretch of Route 66 and ate at several Diners. Made stops at Meteor Crater, The Petrified Forest and the Painted Desert. God really out did himself when he made that part of the country. It was beautiful beyond words.
Anyway, back to the picture from lunch. Picture includes Polly Williams Huffman, Karl Lenhart, Della Kimmel Lenhart, Tom Frederick, Warren Spencer, Gene Miller, Robin VanCamp, Joan Crilly Stoner and Dick Heebsh. Don’t remember what all the conversations were about. I do know Tom and Dick were talking about their winters since they had just gotten back in the area. It was great seeing them again.
The one thing we talked about was lunch on June 29th. David and Carol Pinkerton have invited us down to their house to tour their garden. Please, let either Joan or I know if you plan on joining us on the trip down to their place at Troy. We will carpool, so not everyone has to drive, and coordinate what we are taking for lunch. David and Carol are furnishing chicken and we are to take side dishes. I hope we get a few others to join us. We have to let David know how many are coming so he can have enough chicken for everyone. I thought some of you that may live closer to David’s than to Tiffin may want to join us.
If you do not want to make the trip there, Warren said he will be at TJ’s for lunch if anyone wants to join him there. So I will call and make a reservation for a small group at TJ’s. All this is taking place on Wednesday, June 29.

As you can tell we had a great turnout for lunch yesterday. Gary was back from spending the winter in Florida and Bill and Bev Roby were back from Arizona. Not sure what all the conversations were about. I know some of us were talking about pet sitting for our kids pets and what all we have gone through with that. Politics were mentioned, of course. Nobody seemed to like anyone running for office. Health is always a topic of conversation. I am sure down at the end of the table where Bill and Bev were sitting they were talking about how they spent part of their winter and were catching up on how the ones that stayed in the area spent their winter.
Betty passed around a notice we received from The Tiffin Charitable Association acknowledging the receipt of money the class donated to the Alumni Association in memory of our old teacher and football coach, Richard Butdorf.
We also discussed some plans for our 75th birthday party which will be September 10. Further information will be coming on that later.
It was great seeing Burt and Jane again and also Robin. They hadn’t been to a lunch for awhile. It was especially great to see some of the ones that have returned to the area after spending their winter in warmer climates.
Lunch next month will be April 27 at noon and at TJ’s again.

February 2016 luncheon:
We had a small group today but had lots to talk about. (Don Davis, Della and Karl Lenhart, Butch Spencer, Gene Miller, Joan Stoner and Betty Hall.)
December 30, 2015:
Pictured are Larry and Ina Sager, Della Kimmel Lenhart, Joan Crilly Stoner,
Warren Spencer, Betty Mitchell Hall and Gene Miller. Thanks to Linda Miller
for being our photographer today.
As you can see we had a small turnout for lunch today but it was an
enjoyable one. Hadn't seen Larry and Ina Sager for a while so it was good
to see them again. Lyn Fauber Frontz was there but had to leave before we
got around to taking our picture. Jean Fisher Angus was also there but
got a text asking where she was, she had people sitting in her driveway
waiting on her, so she left before ordering lunch. Warren's brother Jerry
was there also. He had recently had a hip replacement and is doing great.
Joan was telling about her vacation in Greece. Other conversations
centered around health issues and Christmas celebrations.
We wish each and everyone of you a Happy, Healthy New Year. Hope to
see more classmates at our lunches during the new year of 2016. Can
not believe another year has come and gone. Time flies when you are having fun.
Happy New Year

Heebsh and Don Davis. Front row: Karl Lenhart, Della Kimmel Lenhart, Joan
Crilly Stoner and Marilyn Krause Davis
It was a small group today but sometimes that is nice. You get to talk to everyone
more when there is a small group. Conversations today went from the remodeling
Karl and I are doing at our house, to Joan hitting a deer and totaling her car (no one
was hurt just shaken up), and to her up coming trip to Greece to visit her daughter.
Then there was some talk about the world situation and about getting licensed to
carry a firearm. Dick asked us 3 women if we would have played any sports when
we were in school if it had been available. I think I was the only one that said yes.
He mentioned it because he has been going to watch his grandkids play in different
sporting events. Then everyone had to check in to see how Karl is doing
with his chemo, he is doing very well, just losing his hair and some taste buds.
It was another warm, sunny but windy day and was starting to rain when we left.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone. We have decided to meet on Dec. 30 at noon
at the same place. Hope some of you locals will be able to make it. And since
the next lunch is after Christmas, Wishing all of you a Very Merry Christmas too.
Della
PS: Everyone, please keep Joan in your prayers for a safe trip as she
travels to Greece, going through the Paris airport.

Crilly Stoner and Betty Mitchell Hall. Picture was taken by Karl Lenhart.
As you can tell, we had a small turnout for lunch today. Don't know what
kept everyone away except that we did have a lot of rain today. Not sure
what all the conversations were about. Jean was telling about her ordeal
with her car. It broke down going to her son's house in Illinois and took
about a month before she got it back. Betty shared the thank you's we
received from the Band Uniform Committee and The Tiffin Charitable
Foundation that takes care of donations for the Alumni Association. There
was some discussion about the upcoming election concerning Issue 3,
regarding marijuana. And, of course, there is always some conversations
about grandkids and health. We decided that since Thanksgiving is the last
Thursday of next month we will meet on the 3rd Wednesday, November 18, and
for the December lunch it will be December 30. Wishing everyone safe
travels and good health.

Picture was taken by Karl Lenhart. Tom Frederick was there also but always
leaves before the picture is taken.
As you can see we had a nice group for lunch. The weather outside
certainly felt and looked like a typical fall day. It was cool (mid 60's)
cloudy and windy. Leaves are starting to change color. So of course there
was some talk about that. And then at this age our health is always a
subject of conversation. A couple of the attendees were looking forward to
going to warmer climate for the winter. The main subject of conversation
was our annual dinner we had last month. Everybody enjoyed it. I passed
around some pictures that Karl and I had taken at the dinner. Betty came
with the bank book and let us know that we have $800 in our account. But
said the AmVets have raised there prices for the room rental so we have to
reserve enough money to pay for the room upstairs for our 75th birthday
party next year. We did vote on my proposal of donating $200 to the band
for their new uniforms and $100 to the Alumni Association in memory of
deceased classmates. That still leaves us with enough money for the room
rental, postage and mailings for next year.
Our next lunch will be October 28, still at Madison Street Tavern. Hope
to see some new faces or some that haven't been there for a while. Come,
join us before the weather does start getting bad.

Hello Classmates,
As you can tell. we had a much smaller group this month than we had
last month. But it was a good group.
A lot of talk about our upcoming Annual Dinner in just 2 weeks. We have
gotten a good response for this. As of right now we have reservations
for 61 people with several more saying they will come but have not
received their reservation or money as yet. Other conversations were
about health (always a topic at this age) and about travel. I sat
beside Cherie Nichols and she told me they have been in 49 states. I
don't think I will ever come close to that but I'd like to give it a
try.
Looking forward to seeing so many of you in 2 week

July 29, 2015:
Just look at all of the classmates who attended the July Luncheon at the Madison
Street Tavern!
June 24, 2015:
Betty Mitchell Hall said the following classmates attended the June
luncheon at Madison Street Tavern: Lyn Fauber Frontz, Robin VanCamp,
Warren (Butch) Spencer, Bill Roby, Dick Heebsh, Tom Fredrick, Rob Hartsell,
Gene and Linda Miller, Bonnie Cline Estep and Ernie Estep, and Betty Mitchell
Hall. So they had a nice attendance.
She said Rob Hartsell talked about going to visit Larry Wenner at Aurumnwood
nursing home. He said Larry would perk up at the mention of football and Bill Stoner.
Larry can talk about years gone by but not much about his short term memory.
He remembered the pretty cheerleaders and mentioned Mary Lou Fingerhuth.
We were sorry to miss the lunch and very sorry there is no picture but I guess
we can't attend all of them. I know some of you enjoy seeing the picture
each month. I would have liked to have been there especially since
some were there that we don't see often. But last week was a busy week
for us. Last Monday I packed 2 suitcases - 1 we took to Mackinac
Island the other went to Maryland with us. We left home on Tuesday
morning for Mackinac, got back Thursday night. Then left Friday
morning to go to Maryland for my granddaughters birthday party over the
weekend and got back this evening.
I know Joan Crilly Stoner was not at the lunch because she was on a
Mississippi River Boat Cruise with her daughter and son-in-law.
Next class lunch is Wednesday, July 29 at noon and again at Madison
Street Tavern.

May 27, 2015
We had a really good turnout for lunch today as you can see. Pictured
above are Polly Williams Hoffman, Larry and Ina Sager, Harold and Karen Blust Tuttle, Della Kimmel Lenhart, Tom Fredrick, Dick Heebsh, Warren Spencer, and Marilyn Krause Davis.
Seated are Linda and Gene Miller and Don Davis. Picture was taken by Karl Lenhart.
Joan Crilly Stoner and Burt and Jane Park were there also but left before we got around to taking the picture. Warren Spencer's brother Jerry was also there to drive Warren. All together, there were 18 in attendance today.
A lot of the conversation was about heart problems. We were very surprised to see Warren Spencer there. He had just gotten out of the hospital yesterday from having a triple bypass just
last Friday. Couldn't believe it when I walked in and saw him. His
brother told me the first thing he asked him on Saturday was if he was
free on Wednesday to bring him to the lunch. He spent a great deal of time
telling about having chest pains, getting to the doctor and in no time at
all he was in the Toledo Hospital for surgery. Told everyone to not waste
any time getting medical help when you have chest pains.
Tom had just gotten home from wintering in Florida and Dick is home from Tucson. So we had to catch up with them. They both had good winters. It was great seeing both of them again.
It has been a while since Larry and Ina have been able to make it
also. They babysit grandkids a lot and had the day free. So it was good
seeing them too.
Everyone seemed to really like The Madison Street Tavern. And the people there were great about bringing out another table and more chairs when more people kept coming. Tables were set up in a square so you could see and talk with everyone. Not like the one long table like we usually had at the other places we had been. You didn't know who was at the other end of the table or what they were talking about.
So, we hope to see more of you there next month. (Although some of us regulars won't be there next month because we will be traveling.) Come, join the fun.
If Warren can make it just one day out of the hospital, I wish some others would try to also. Forget about whatever hang up you may have about something that may have gone on when we were in school. We have actually grown up and enjoy each others company and finding out what everyone has been doing. Being retired we sure are a busy bunch.

April 29, 2015:
We kept adding tables today until there was no more space to put them!
16 in all attended the luncheon today at T J Willies.
Sitting on the right hand side of the table at T J Willies were Warren Spencer,
Gene and Linda Miller, Joan Crilly Stoner, Betty Mitchell Hall, Robin Van Camp,
and Marilyn Davis.
Sitting on the left hand side were Harold and Karen Blust Tuttle, Gary Chaney,
Polly Williams Hoffman, Della Kimmel Lenhart and Karl Lenhart, Don Davis and Burt Park.
Jane Park took the pictures.
All of us were thankful for the good weather.
Hope to see you next month.
March 25, 2015:
As you can see Jane and Burt Park, Karl and Della Lenhart, Gene Miller, Warren Spencer(a few days before his birthday), Polly Hoffman, Karen and Harold Tuttle and Joan Stoner attended the lunch today at T J Willies. Good company. Good food. Good conversation.
Missed you and hope you can attend the next lunch the last Wednesday in April
at TJ Willies.
January 28, 2015:
Gathered around the table at TJ Willies today were
Carol and Dave Pinkerton, Betty Mitchell Hall,
Gene Miller, Butch Spencer, Della Kimmel Lenhart
and Joan Crilly Stoner. Jean Fisher Angus arrived
at 1:45 knowing that some of us would still be there
talking.
