Loretta J. (Kohli) Lloyd

Loretta J. (Kohli) Lloyd, 73, of Pikeville, Tennessee, and formerly Tiffin, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at Lifecare Center, Sparta, Tennessee.

Loretta was born April 4, 1941, in Tiffin, to Wilson and Laurel (Bowe) Kohli. She married C. Jerre Lloyd Nov. 24, 1968, in New Orleans, and they resided in Santa Barbara, California, and Lake Charles, Louisiana, with their children. They divorced amicably and he survives in Denver.

Loretta also is survived by her two daughters, Jennifer Lloyd Kresse of Denver and Amy Claire Lloyd of Los Angeles, and two grandchildren.

Loretta was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother, James Kohli; and a sister, Caroline (Kohli) Adams.

Loretta was a 1959 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School and was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Tiffin. Upon graduation, she studied nursing at Cleveland Clinic and worked as a registered nurse for many years. Loretta later went on to get a degree in horticulture from McNeese State University, Lake Charles, Louisiana.

A memorial service for Loretta will be at a later date in March in Tiffin. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Tiffin. Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
