He was born June 29, 1941, in Tiffin, to Homer and Josephine (Monaco) Pryor. On Nov. 14, 1964, he married Donna Mathias.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Michael (Shirley) Pryor and Barry Pryor, both of Tiffin; two daughters, Michelle (Kris) Kowalski of Mansfield and Sherry (Brent) Jordan of McCutchenville; two brothers, Paul (Jerrie) Pryor and Mike (Mint) Pryor, both of Tiffin; sister-in-law, Arlene Pryor of Tiffin; and 5 grandchildren, Nicole, Katie, Donna, Kristian and Sarah.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Cecil Pryor.

Bill graduated in 1959 from Tiffin Columbian High School. He was a member of the United States Naval Reserves. He retired in 1995 from American Standard after 24 years. He was the past president of the Columbian band boosters and was a member of the Tiffin Jaycees, Lions Club, Isaac Walton League and the NRA. Bill enjoyed going to haunted houses, camping, photography, visiting covered bridges and decorating for Christmas. He enjoyed watching the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions. He also was a great cook. Bill loved spending time with his family; especially his grandkids.

His funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2012, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, with the Rev. Donna VanTrees officiating. Burial will follow in Fairmont Cemetery with military honors being conducted by the United Veterans Council.

Friends may visit with the family 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 8, and 10-11 a.m. Tuesday morning at the funeral home.
