Hello, All! After high school I joined the Army, married young in El Paso TX, divorced the Army and my wife a few years later, went to college and received a couple of degrees in Literature. I have been teaching college English over the last decade and am currently a tenure-track professor at EPCC.

In between all of that, I kept my sanity by singing in a rock band called "Whiskey Sour" (r.i.p. 1993-2005). We released a CD in '04 under the name "Abinormal" - if any of you are oddly curious, you can find it online and listen to some songs on various sites. Just Google "Abinormal CD".

I still have a passion for music and am working on a yet-to-be-released project called "Lasa Vector" while also building a recording studio in my house. We are an edgier band than one would expect at this age with influences such as Tool, Sevendust, and Incubus.

Other than that, I live a simple life of grading papers and working on my house stud by stud...

I hope to attend next year so that some of you can refresh my memory of how those good ol' days were. I never got into the drug or alcohol thing, but man is my memory gone...

I hope to hear from some of you soon!

School Story:

As fore-mentioned, I unfortunately have little recollection of those days...but one funny flash is of a stupid game called "tag" (I do believe based off of a stupid movie) where we used suction cup dart guns to eliminate each other for some ultimate prize. Rick Chaney was hiding outside of my neighbor's house and chased me half a block through 2 feet of snow. I was doomed from the start - hehe...I remember Rick as a popular, funny and humble guy - one hell of an entertainer! I think he won a school talent competition by singing in a band, and I think they wrote a cool song, but again, oh my memory... =0(

I also have to say that I remember, admire, miss and love Mrs. Mann and Curtis King - 2 people that had a profound influence on my life!
